Vasks with the Riga Sinfonietta

At the Festival “Wege durchs Land”, Marc Bouchkov will play for the first time together with the renowned Latvian orchestra Riga Sinfonietta. They play two pieces by Peteris Vasks at the Abbey Marienmünster close to Bielefeld: Vox Amoris and Tala geisma, both without conductor. Marc Bouchkov will perform both as leader and soloist. The concert will be enriched by lectures with the German actress Martina Gedeck and the Lithuanian author Jonas Mekas.Marc Bouchkov spielt beim Festival “Wege durchs Land” erstmals mit dem renommierten lettischen Ensemble Riga Sinfonietta. Zwei Werke von Peteris Vasks stehen auf dem Programm im Kloster Marienmünster in der Nähe von Bielefeld: Vox Amoris und Tala geisma. Bei beiden Werken wird Mark Bouchkov sowohl die Solovioline als auch die Leitung übernehmen. Die Musik wird kombiniert mit einer Lesung mit der deutschen Schauspielerin Martina Gedeck und dem litauischen Autor Jonas Mekas.
