Höhe, Glanz, und Mittelpunkt wird der Auftritt von Marc Bouchkov im Tschaikowsky-Violinkonzert. Total unbeeindruckt vom Schwierigkeitsgrad seines Parts präsentiert er die große, schöne Idee mit Blick auf großformatige Zusammenhänge. Dabei ist es einfach überragend, wie er den großen Klang seiner wunderbaren Geige (Jean Baptiste Vuillaume, 1865) mit großem Temperament, sicherem Stilgefühl in jeder Nuance, hochvirtuos und hochmusikalisch ausschöpft. Seine hinreißende Darbietung lässt uns wunschlos zurück. Der brausende Applaus für ihn ist an diesem Abend nicht zu toppen. Zum Dank gibt es Bach. Das kann er auch. Man hätte die berühmte Stecknadel fallen hören können.

Completely unimpressed by the degree of difficulty of his part he presents the great and beautiful idea with focus on the full context. The way he exploits the big sound of his wonderful violin (Jean Baptiste Villaume, 1865) with great temper, a confident sense of style in every nuance, highly virtuoso and musically is just outstanding. His ravishing presentation leaves us perfectly happy. The applause for him did not stop. You could have heard the pin drop.)
