Brilliant debut for Bouchkov and Park
Young, brilliant, virtuous. A shower of applause at the Cagliari Opera House for the debut of the Belgian violinist Marc Bouchkov and the German pianist Christopher Park. The second appointment of the Concert Season last night gave a fascinating chamber recital, in a program that ranged from Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Franck. The great harmony between the two musicians is palpable from the very first notes. The audience applauded enthusiastically the recital, which included in the second half the intense and extraordinary Sonata n. 3 for violin and piano by Debussy and the sonata by César Franck.
